EHS ComplianceThe Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB) on May 01, 2025, issued a circular regarding the temporary suspension of CTE & CTO Fee Collection for Sand Mining Applications from the mining department.

The following has been stated: - 

•The AP Pollution Control Board has temporarily suspended collection of Consent to Establish (CTE) and Consent to Operate (CTO) fees for sand mining applications received from the Mining Department, as per a request during the Chief Secretary's conference. 

•This applies only to the Mining Department and not to other departments or private agencies. Fee collection remains applicable for applications from Irrigation, Revenue, PR&RD departments, private sand mine allotments, and de-siltation activities. 

•The suspension is effective until further notice.
